O/T Christmas lights. About 8-years ago a sister of mine was living in your backyard and came spend the holidays with us. My wife and I went to a concert one evening, and while we were gone, a circuit breaker blew because of an overload from the 6,000 lights I had outside.

Well, my sis went and flipped a bunch of switches on and off until she found the one breaker that was tripped.

About 6-weeks later I was downstairs in a storage area and noticed the concrete cracking. We had had a thaw that week, and lots of moisture was in the ground as a result. The day the cracks occured our temp dropped from 32-degrees to zero in about 4-hours, where it stayed for a couple of days.

I went to check the sump pump and noticed it was not running. When my sis flipped the switches, she had turned off my sump pump breaker, which was dedicated to the pump only.

Needless to say, my Christmas lights led me to a problem with "crack", so I haven't put any out like that since.
