The anemone was actually shipped to me on accident, I didn't want it becasue I read they're difficult to keep. I borrowed a chemical test kit, not test strips, from one of my friends, who has a SW tank, and tested everything. The only thing that was too high was phosphates. All the other tests were within the right parameters. However, it's possible that the nitrates could give a false positive because the algae in the tank was sucking it all up.
In any case, I'm starting over from square one and I'm gonna do this right this time. It'll be a couple months before anything goes into the tank. It has one live rock in it right now, that's it. And water of course.
