Jag the question is

Is gold being used as a hedge against a dollar decline or is it being used as the next form of investment now that the housing marlet is cooling off.

I don't have the answer to that one and I don't think anyone does.. but it does bare watching closely, someone knows something somewhere and retail investors will be the last to know..

I just read recently where a lot of the runup in gold is due to short covering.
