Depends on the size of the promotion. The size of the promotions CARN has done are minor and do not create the pressure and vacuum that the larger promotions cause.

You are right. There is a site called wwwpunpsanddumps.com that lists all of the pumps and even some bordering on "shady" circumstances.

Some legitimate companies employ these outside concerns for good reason. Sometimes they don't have an adequate PR staff.

Anyway, it looks like this last pop CARN did on its own motion after a short period of consolidation. I can't find anything else at this time.

Was this stock on everyone's radar? Did anyone know?
