Yep. Individual biochemistry is amazingly varied. I know one guy who thinks Anatabloc caused his sugar blood level to go up a lot, and he's a diabetic. There is a lot of evidence that, in general, Anatabloc is good for diabetics, but it is always possible to encounter a biochemical outlier, and I think he's got to be one of those. He's a trained pharmacist so he's a pretty good judge of such things.

That book by Selby & Fong mentioned in my earlier post might offer a path you could try. It's different from any other blood chemistry changing diet I've encountered, very radical, but sharing some characteristics of paleo.
