He does have a sticky post at the top which talks of one potential resolution wherein commons make out better than preferreds. There are resolutions wherein preference is not given to preferreds over commons despite structure. Doesn't change our top end of $25 and $50 respectively.

Let it be noted, since early 2009, my bet has been preferreds over commons. ;)
