there's a lot of red tape involved with being public, and in the past couple of years there has been a real clampdown on companies that are otc pinksheet. some of that is in the interest of the shareholder such as making it much harder for companies to do reverse splits, but as you can see, it does not insure that things will be done to help the company we hold stock in.
the more of these pennystocks that clearing houses, brokers and marketmakers can get off of their books without ever having to cover, the more they will figure out ways to prevent these companies from ever trading again, imo.
