I am sure he also knew how and when to take a loss. ACTC has an awesome plan and future product but when they can put out news that says they basically cured a type of blindness and the most it can get is a 1 day 20% bump and retrace there is something wrong. The other thing in the news apparently not overlooked is that the trials are finally at their half way point.
At first glance that seems like great news but since they started the trials how much money have they spent? It has taken 2 billion shares to get half way there. With the same amount to go you can count on needing another 4B shares
the 80:1 RS they were going to do will not be large enough.
This stock will be worth owning a few months before the trials are done but to hold the shares until then is asking to take a major loss. For now the safest bet is trading for free shares so the RS doesnt cut away your capital when it happens.
I will by this long term at the end of next year maybe.
