It's in the letter from Chain's law firm. There is ZERO ambiguity there.

Again, please identify where it says (in your words), "...the CEO wasn't being paid....".

I own three successful small businesses. When they were start up enterprises, I (as CEO) was the last person to be paid. When there wasn't enough money, my cheques got smaller.

Now that the businesses are mature and successful, I (as CEO), am greatly rewarded in that (after everyone else is paid) my paycheck is limited only by the funds in the account.

As CEO, Dr. Chain would be expected to demonstrate the same flexibility.

Sadly, he won't be around to benefit from the companies success.

Regardless, you are misinterpreting the words of Dr. Chains counsel.
