Yeah, whoever decided to design their entire interface around mobile devices when the majority of people are still using desktops in some capacity really dropped the ball on that one. I don't mind the interface, but requiring an extra step to get to the desktop for non-mobile users is just annoying. I don't mind the Metro interface on my Surface so much, but nothing at all would have been lost by leaving it as a regular desktop. Ah well, live and learn I guess.
