Gulfbreeze... Your comment, "they hold up extremely well to Hurricanes", has not been my experience here with snap lock metal roofs. After hurricane Charley I did a lot of work on Pine Island and saw many damaged metal roofs. Every one that I saw was a snap lock roof. The more traditional metal roofs with screws through the crimp ridges showed no damage... except, of course, on those where the rafter system failed and the whole roof structure was gone.
I found the same to be true in Naples this year after Wilma.
