Dart, I have a question on TA and I can't seem to get it answered.

When looking at MACD and RSI indicators, what period and duration is the best for making short term predictions?

The MACD of a 1 minute day chart looks a LOT different than a 1 year daily chart.

Do the 1 day charts hold any water with TA or do you need to look for longer trends, like a 3 days to a month?
