Sure, but proving a negative is much more difficult, almost impossible, whereas proving a positive can be much more easily done.

That is why burdens of proof in courts of law are on the side asserting that a fact exists (criminal accusations, affirmative defenses, etc.) It's because it is much easier for the proponent of that fact to prove that fact exists than for the opponent to prove that the fact does not exist.

So...if someone asserts that they are diving and bringing up treasure, then it is much easier to prove that fact than to prove they are not bringing up treasure.

Sure, some people still won't believe their proof but that is a whole 'nother story...

i'm sure if somebody was on a bridge and being pushed over the side with cement shoes on, it would be pretty easy to prove that would be a negative! Well maybe just for the person falling to the water! LOLOLOL In life nothing is impossible! it maybe difficult, or costly but all things are possible. In my opinion
