Been searching far and wide and nothing to date -- it better not be some Asian flake pseudo company..

I checked the New York State Government State Department web site for an active business entity with a name starting with "New Media." There is no active business entity named "New Media Capital Group" in the records of the Department of State of the State of New York. The State Department does have a record of a business called:

New Media Capital, LLC
80 Broad Street, 11th Floor
New York, New York 10004.

Its registered agent is:

CT Corporate Systems
111 Eighth Avenue
New York, New York 10011.

Don't have phone numbers for them yet. I'm going to ask Mr. Ferris if this is the same outfit he is dong business with. If he responds, and his track record on responding is not good, I'll post the response.

The New York State records list one Laurent Ohana as a person who is authorized to receive mail for New Media at its Broad Street address. Other persons associated with New Media are not listed, but the NY State Department will provide a copy of the certificate for this company for a fee. The certificate may list additional officers/directors of New Media Capital.
