Getting close to your buying back in. Sorry you missed the run to 25 but better luck this time. BTW, some of us did sell on the run to 25. Perhaps you may do the same on the next run.

Any hedgie out there with $35M, and there are plenty, could make 2 or 3 $Mil in one afternoon, by relentlessly attacking the ask, and forcing a short squeeze, ala Carl Icahn. They could be out of their position by selling into the cover.

Isn't that how the big boys do it, legal or otherwise? Shortie know it, and that's why they all have alerts.

BTH: "Short interest increased from 10.8M on 4/15 to 12.7M on 4/30.
What do you make of that?"

NOT MUCH!

BTH: "I exited because I wasn't interested in the fundamental story. "

Short attention span?
Me..., I"m still VERY interested in the fundamental story. Cause, other
than the fundamentals, there is no story.

Lots of "stories" out there, can anyone suggest a more entertaining
one than Ariad. I'm just waiting for the ending (I think it'll be a good one!!).

Thanks for the info!!!

BTW, is there an action item associated with the increase in "short interest"?

Is this meaningful to you? I ask seriously. Im not someone who really follows short interest all that closeley and Im always torn intuitively on whether its the chicken or the egg? I.e. did the increase in the short interest contribute to price weakness or did shorts see a declining share price that they think will continue and tried to jump in on the bandwagon.

Presumably an increasing short interest will mean that at somepoint in the future there will be increased covering which could be a good thing for price appreciation?

Any thoughts?
