While I am terribly frustrated and disappointed at not reaching the targeted goals from several years ago, I am wondering what specifically you are referencing as "striking out". I get the "fumbling" as it relates to delay after delay, but where have they actually whiffed? From what I can determine, the 'cides have performed successfully, perhaps even too successfully as they decided to go after all influenzas as opposed to one or two strains.

Anything other than permanent boosterism is heavily frowned upon in this forum.

No, that would just be the baseless crap. Like for instance the notion that they can't start clinical trials in Australia without FDA approval. Or.... look at all those insider sales by Diwan and Seymour, and TheraCour in the last couple of months. Or.... Phase III trials on flucide would cost a tripling in shares outstanding (equivalent to about $200M when stated). You get the picture....

then take your uniform and football and go home for a nice warm meal. you've just been cut. that's a good response to those that don't have much to say other than negative comments that are completely unproductive. have a beer or drink of your choice.
