He has a chance to answer. He can provide all the answers people are looking for via the same PR mechanisms he uses to make grand statements that rarely if ever materialize.

How does he know there's a question? What's wrong with just asking him? Are emails or phone calls that tough? If he won't answer, OK...run with what you have, but at least try before you assume he's running a scam.
