Yes, that could be one of the many many possibilities. Choose yours as many also will. I am an speculator and have already made profits- twice!

However, all things considered, that still will not change the attractiveness of the speculation that FNMA happens to be.

Yes, politics will play the major role here. I do know that. But one has to believe that better thinking is likely to prevail even in our gov. reps. But no guarantees, of course. Otherwise it wouldn't even be exciting... other than also non-existing as such a situation!
