i don't get this "enemy combatant" thing. if they are enemy combatants, wouldn't we be compelled to treat them as prisoners of war? In the same way we didn't execute captured enemy pilots who had bombed or strafed us in WWII, only confined them as POW's. Why do the wingnuts want them to be POW's instead of prosecuting this naturalized american citizen as a criminal?

I honestly don't even get their argument.
