Dr Bill: You're problem??
If you were really and truly all that bright and intelligent (bordering on genius, as you imply), you would NEVER see the burdensome need to blow your own trumpet. Typically, that's the sign of someone who WANTS to be forever noticed solely on the basis of his own pitiful, narcissistic self-assessment -- "Hey, over here, look at me!; look at all I have done!; look at what I can do!; notice what I can say!"
What a real pity! The very best and brightest will always be noticed even as they try their very best to humble themselves to no end, keeping themselves as much beyond the reach of all of the fanciful appreciation. And then when people do notice you, it is because you are truly worthy of it!
