Could be a number of reasons. The lawsuit scared off a lot of people towards the end of last year. Boldface hasn't said how they are going to handle that so we are still unsure about a settlement, name change, royalties etc.
I think it was shorted heavily when they had kardash on the CNBC program. That backfired on em for sure.
Quarterlies will be out soon. IMO they will have great sales #s from the Khroma launch. I have seen the displays in a bunch of CVSs around LA and they are usually far from full. ULTA.com also has many highly rated products, and people talk about em a lot on Twitter. I do know that terms of the lawsuit allow them to sell current supplies so while the press blitz wasn't huge, there was some good marketing and social media activity on the products. I am not sure of it, but I think they've taken what they didn't sell here and distributed throughout Europe. Doing really well there. I think they had several items out of stock on the EU website prior to refilling inventory on 5/1.
There are a lot of good signs. The recent additions to the board signify promise in the numbers coming, and signing a new client that is gearing up for publication across web, film, games, etc. is huge. It's been down for a long but IMO this is going to be a good year for BLBK.
