You are wrong, Dr. Brekken did not give the presentation in Chicago, It was Dr. David Gerber. Please get your facts correct. Yes, Dr. Brekken does have a lab at UTSW. http://www.utsouthwestern.edu/labs/brekken/
I agree... that any Dr. would be glad to be able to have the opportunity to continue Dr. Thorpes work. Initially... my previous posts regarding Dr. Brekken have clearly shown that he has already been working with parallel studies/research/development as Thorpe ... and I am really amazed with all the information out of Dr. Brekken.... talking specifically about Breast Cancer... Pancreatic... Lung...etc and I did not think I would find it possible that Peregrine would have the option of someone "local" ... Dr. Brekken also grew up in Texas... and his ties to UTSWM....etc would make him fit right in. I only started researching this because I was concerned about "partnering discussions" leading to that BP wanting to have their lead research scientist to take over Thorpes lab... which I can no way see Peregrine allowing that to happen unless it was an all out "buyout" of the company.... which don't think any BP can afford it realistically.
I didn't know about Board of Regents affiliations...... looked quick but will look more : )
