If you break down the components I find that number to be a bit excessive. I understand the cost of R&D and farming out some of the manufacturing can add a bit, but still!

I guess if management is thinking they can recoup their investment in short order by jacking the price out of reach for most customers then they had better rethink that strategy, and real soon.
