To the 'REAL" JAB From Yahoo board

Jab- I did check the dates (as you previously advised) and I see your post
was from the "real deal". A refreshing change from the frauds and creeps
that counterfeit other's names here.

Some time ago I followed LibiGel pretty closely and was surprised by the
unsatisfactory efficacy clinical trial result. I thought if we had gotten a disappointment it would have been on the safety side, and that seemed fine.
Now- more than a year later, and with LibiGel playing a far less significant
roll in ATRS' future - So without reviewing all of my notes - From memory -
I liked very much the large "off label" use of testosterone for FSD and
approval would give the FDA control they then lacked. - In BioSante's
tests they reported the drug gained in efficacy over time and the placebo
declined. The FDA confirmed that FSD was an "unmet medical need" and
LibiGel was not in the "recreational drug" area. The P & G drug - Intrinsa
for treating FSD was approved and selling in Europe with good results. The
same FDA group that approved Elestrin was the group discussing LibiGel with BioSante.
For these and other reasons - I though the clinical work would be sufficient
to have LibiGel provable.

The market for a FSD drug is such that AARP magazine (largest circulation in
the world of any magazine) some years had an article titled: "Will there ever
be a 'Pink' Viagra?' and said such a drug would be: "The Holy Grail of the
Pharmaceutical Industry" -- (perhaps an overstatement, but surely a "block-
buster $billion drug)...

Now BioSante is betting the whole company on the fact that the clinical trial
was poorly designed and a new trial will have approvable results - and who would
know LibiGel better then them.
AGAIN - Please note I don't own a single share of ATRS betting on, expecting for,
or based on LibiGel- I just think it could turn out favorable for us - and, if so,
the rewards could be huge.

As for a male contraceptive gel - I can't really say why I think it is "wishful
thinking" - but I do. Perhaps I am just guarding my emotions against expectations
that are too high.
I now see our share price in the teens with approval and launch of Otrexup
and that is (for the next 12 months) high enough for me.
Hope I am wrong about male contraception, and if so we should hear reasonably
soon.

GOOD LUCK

I'm surprised Ali would even put his name behind the article without some comments from ATRS on the status of the female & male contraceptive programs. Is a formulation combing testosterone & nestorone covered by the POP council licensing agreement?

Maybe someone can ask Howarth whats the future of the programs at some point instead of all this speculation. Ali even mentioned the Phase II's recent completion? I guess it is if you count five years as recent.
