What you post regarding peer review before funding is completely incorrect. The vast majority of human trials start before any pre-clinical work is published in papers. Yet, Funding still happens.
Pointless hypothetical. They have the money to get into human trials and a successful Phase I/IIa will take care of any funding issues, as well as any perceived lack of published papers. A drug that works trumps everything.
