rogue, I never said I defended any political position or their agendas, I simply stated that the rebuttle from the conspiracy crowd tends to be idiotic at best.
The investigation panels tend to have much more information than we are led to believe and are in a better position to comment on them, political agendas aside. When you mix politics into it then that changes the dynamics of any investigation they do.
But the conspiracy crowd is only left with the scraps off the table and because they are left with even less information the possibilites as to what may have happened goes up exponentially. You can even throw in aliens and bigfoot into the mix because they were never denied by the government as being possible suspects.
JFKs assassination make for some very good drama and if it didn't not happen he would have likely ended up in the annals of history as Lyndon Johnson. If a bunch of politicos felt daring enough to commit to an assassination and get away with it then it is on them. I feel that if you are willing to step up to the grown up table then you better accept the rsponsibility it bring with it. JFK was no better than any other politician that made it to the presidency. Its a long winding road of corruption and tit-for-tat. He signed away and sanctioned much of his ethics and values to get there and I don't give him any bigger of a pedestal to stand on as I do Clinton, Bush, or Stalin.
As to the definition of freedom? Your freedom and my freedom are only a confining box in which we have not full explored. At some point you will reach one of the walls to your box and either grumble that it is small be satified that your box is bigger than most peoples' or look for ways of expanding it.
So far I heve dealt with my box nicely. I choose not to travel by plane, I do not put myself in a position to side myself against someone more powerful than me, at least not with their knowledge, and I don't lay support for one position or another. I have lived very comfortably and have not been plagued with the stress of having to take a stance on anything. As we know in time society revert to the mean before another concept takes control. I put my faith in time, as it rules over all. I here you can bring scissors on as carry on luggage. That must make the teachers happy. I hope they still don't allow people to run with them.
