what is the MM's (Market Makers) job?

reverse split... was it done? No? then whats your point?

current price is not determined by what a company does fundementally... but revenues and profits dictate value... do not confuse yourself.

Thousands of companies of less size and importance in their markets trade at very much higher prices than Fannie and Freddie.

well... no sht. how many of them make billions of dollars in PROFITS?

Answer the above three questions and you know why this is trading below what it should.

AIG's situation is not the same... please do not compare it.

What you posted is a PROPOSAL... and has not been enacted upon. Thus means absolutely nothing... and pray tell... when was that done? yesterday? or Years ago? absolutely meaningless if over a year... don't you think?
