Argyll, I am assuming that I would be buying directly from the Canadian markets, rather than thru an intermediary broker like Canaccord. The reinvestment of dividends at no fee is obviously a big plus.

I also figure that putting some funds in CAD will give me a hedge against the falling US$, which I expect to continue to fall over time against other world currencies. With their huge natural resource base, I think the CAD will rise against most currencies, including the US$. Bobwins
