I think it is fairly simple, but it is conceivable that I could be overlooking something. That is why I didn't elaborate on it much in the Ibox (yet). I figured we would have a discussion on it and find any holes.

But, for now, it appears to me that the rule is ALWAYS that whatever time you post a freeze or a trade that the freeze price or the selling price of the stock is at the NEXT CLOSING PRICE. And, any new stock obtained in the trade is also at the NEXT CLOSING PRICE.

Without complicating this too much, I presume someone will make a trade sometime - say on a Saturday. Then, before the close on Monday, change their mind. I don't see anything wrong with that. If it were a mutual fund, they would be screwed, but we are anti-mutual funds here so I don't know why they would have to follow through on it if the deadline hasn't happened yet.
