Why? There is already evidence of efficacy of Flucide in rats for other strains of flu. If it works for H7N9 too, which I suspect it will, how does that make the Flucide program take off? Do the construction workers on the manufacturing facility suddenly start working double time? Is NNVC likely to start toxicity testing any sooner? (If anything, the H7N9 testing is a distraction from that.) Nope, the timeline for Flucide doesn't change one little bit.
