What’s Selling is a monthly review of the best-selling products determined from unit sales at six natural products stores around the country, rotated from a base of selected stores. The intention is to provide indications of sales trends.

The statement about GT's Kombucha being the #1 beverage in Whole Foods last year:

Natural Choice Award winners . . . were chosen through ballots sent to us from natural product retailers that told us what sold the best in their stores in 15 categories this past year. Our editors tabulated the results and broke any ties by consulting our monthly What’s Selling column.
