Exactly... real companies promote their products. Pump and dumps promote their shares. can't you tell the difference between an advertisement for a product and a paid stock promotion? Why does octx have to promote it's shares? Seems like a waste of their valuable and scarce money which supposedly they need for oil exploration. Right? Explain how I'm wrong about this, if you think I am.
No real oil company resorts to phony newsletters and banner mobile ads (yes that's how I learned of this scam) to pump their stock. They advertise their product, yes, but not their shares.
