Ziff......I would suggest doing some dd on electroporation and you could start with Inovio's site:

They have numerous versions of electroporators - all depending on the indication they are dealing with. They are constantly revising their models with new data from existing preclinical & clinical trials.

So - no, this is no gimmick. I believe Merck is using one of Inovio's versions in one of their trials....
