When you get the original CERTIFICATE there is a place on the certificate where you will endorse it to the brokerage firm you have your account with and mail it to them they will place it in the street name for you.

I've heard not to contact the company and I've read that others have gotten emails about their shares being sent. Please MODS...post the actual way to go about the preferreds. If someone has the time a link would be great or send this old guy a message. Thanks.
