Noble Corporation (NE US, US$37.33, Outperform, TP: US$45.00) Jackup Kenneth Delaney to stay with ONGC for another 5 months, Nigel Browne

Slight Positive: Jackup Noble Kenneth Delaney is set to continue to work with ONGC for at least another five months, until March 2014.

The rig has been working with ONGC since Oct-2010 and was originally scheduled to finish the charter in early October 2013. However, ONGC has the right to extend the contract term for exactly the number of days the rig was not working.

Considering the unit’s yard stay for about 200 days last year, ONGC has the option to keep it on charter for a further 59 days beyond March 2014.
