actually, GOOG mentions in their motion to delay determination of RR, post verdict on Jan 3, that delaying with give them some time to come up with a workaround (somewhere in the #847-857 range of motions), and actually cite a case where RR was in part determined by the $$ needed to convert TO the workaround "which should be included in the calculation of the RR" !!! holy s***, are ya KIDDIN' me??
So, the workaround is not a new strategy for GOOG. It was stated that they were going to attempt to do so soon after trial concluded.....
