I agree maybe use them only for big board stocks or mutual funds. I use scottrade and they have been great but a lot of people use E trade as well as they are good for penny stocks to.

I bailed from TDA because of that. I use etrade and never have any problems. I know Scottrade is popular as well but they handle their commissions a little differently iirc.
