#4080 RE: ShipComesIn #4079

There is a fair bit more then just a road....

Operations History

I utilized information from the public releases to publish at that link, what was done. If you take into the acount all the PR's detailing engagement with various exploration/production companies that came and went, and stalled from result of Bill's acident, a considerable amount was done in just the planning stages over those years. Sure anyone can scream "fluff" in the hindsight as these ventures did not pan out but it does not mean they had not been persuecd in due course.
The very fact that this project has been delayed for as many years it has has also allowed for the fact that when this mine was conceived in the early Millenium, gold was only valued at $500.00 or so per ounce. The price was over three times that at near $2000.00 per ounce a few years ago. At this point, there has and will be a potential drop in price of gold as rumor has it, some countries are selling their gold to pay off debt. However, by selling their reserves, they will be presured into producing more. It will be the same kind of bounce as in the early millenium when a flood of gold dropped the price from $500 per ounce to $250 and it recovered withint a year before climbing to a record high of near $2000 per ounce. We may see the $5000 per ounce people have speculated on especially with an economy up and down like a toilet seat in a public washroom and politicians and bankers robbing from citizens savings accounts like what happened in Cyprus...

Golly Gee, I'm just trying to decide which of the last two posts I give the higher rating. HHMMMMMM, Oh, Gosh, I guess I'll go with the informative one as opposed to the "Leaky Teaky" version! I think the phrase "As far as I know" comes into play here. There seems to be a distinct difference between the two posts as far as actual information on the facts as recorded, and the negative version. But, that's just me.

My intel is that this infamous "completed road" is a load of crap.
There is partial road that has been completed, however, actually getting all the way up to the mine site is a hazard and the path up is barely navicalble.
