For the most part I agree. However this was a different circumstance. On Friday even SCHWAB (SCHWAB!!!!) had tons of shares to borrow. IB filled my order almost instantly.
I shorted at .27 and wish I would have borrowed more. Not sure how it will look come Monday morning but on Friday there were plenty of shares available.
Smart shorters are waiting for the right time to hit this again. .135c is most likely not the right time. Didn't it just go from .11c to the .40's a couple days ago? The guys that can hit this short won't. Yet.
If it cliffdives Monday it'll be SMA's doing not shorts.
