steph....if rights "supercede" one another, then, it would logically follow that there is only one cardinal right....

what would that be??

perhaps, in reality, rights do not "supercede" one another....

rather, with that with a right comes a RESPONSIBILITY (I know, a completely foreign concept to a progressive) to exercise that right without infringing upon the rights of others....

for example....I have the right to free speech.....but, does that mean I have the unrestrained right to fabricate and/or speak injuriously about another, etc etc etc?
