First it was Aesop Rock, but his wording remains abstruse and I'm not going to look it all up, then there was Beast1333, but I see some holes in his lyrics, yet he has a blueprint for action not seen elsewhere which sets him apart. Now there is Noah23 and Associates, who's lyrics go over and above the rest quite clearly, yet he is the least popular on youtube. Bad promo perhaps. A hidden hand is at work more generally in this rigged popularity game. What is popular is the illusion of truth. Take care Choi, find any really good underground hip hop, excavate it for us.
