You are falling for bullchitt skewed to give a anti view, your first clue was The Huffington Post.

Gun death stats include criminal on criminal shootings, self defense shootings, suicides (Japan is the highest - no guns!), law enforcement shootings and the age numbers are skewed to alter statistics as well. Last I looked, the kids included 22-year olds.
