Very well put sir. I've been stationed at Aviano Italy for a while now and can agree with you 100%. Italy is a purely socialist country who's economy is destroyed because of it. As taxes go higher to pay for entitlements to those who don't work, businesses get choked out and go out of business, which puts more people out of work, which puts a further strain on the system, which keeps perpetuating.
The healthcare system here is a nightmare so most italians go to private doctors, so in essence, they're paying into a health care system they don't use because it sucks.
The taxes are so high, it's figured that people work up until August to pay taxes, and then get to keep the rest for themselves. It's not the rich people that suffer, it's the middle class.
Look at Cuba if you need an even more extreme example of that.
All of Obama's policies reflect the worst of what Europe has to offer and we're supposed to think that's a positive thing?
