I just checked out the bit of trivia regarding Kentucky and the NY Yankees.
In all but one year, whenever Kentucky wins the NCAA Basketball Championship, the Yankees have won the World Series.
It has happened 6 times
1998, 1996, 1978, 1958, 1951, and 1949. The only time that Kentucky has won and the Yankees didn’t win the World Series was in 1948.
