Psst..Americans love conspiracies.

Perhaps the Mangos manager is being paid to tell a white lie so that PPS will crash...so that some can accumulate...so that many will sell at a loss.

Whether it is 911, a political killing, whatever, America always loves a conspiracy.

Perhaps BTHR does have a good story after all. And Mangos manager may be told to tell a certain story and he keeps his job and be rewarded. he he

Anybody that thinks you are going to drive or call Mangos to speak with a manager or an employee about any details of what may or may not be happening with the specifics of this transaction have got to be kidding themselves.

I'm the Assistant General Manager at a $3 million/year brewery & restaurant. We are currently expanding our business off site. Our bartenders and servers have no idea of any details of any of our expansion plans. My 2 supervisors know very little, if anything at all. My GM, myself and our floor manager are the only people that know of our current plans. And I can promise you, anybody that calls us to ask us these same types of questions our answer is always: Everything we do as a business is a work in progress and this information is only discussed between upper management, not guests. We are as vague as we can possibly be in response to questions like that. This happens to me every week.

Who knows if BTHR is really going to aquire Mangos or not. But 1 thing I know is you sure as heck are not going to find anything out by talking to any employee there. And if you think an employee actually gives you any type of info, it is either misinfo or just hersay. It's a restaurant, not an office firm.

Also, our expansion plans got delayed for 2 years because of certain logistics with the city we operate in. Last month, everything just finalized for us. Maybe the same thing is happening with BTHR, or maybe this whole thing is just a big scam story.

All we can do now is wait. Hopefully the deal is gonna close, and if it doesn't, well then we all just write off any losses and get on with our lives.

Right?
