I don't think that's true. SS is completely solid until 2037 or something like that. It's so easy....just lift the cap on the highest earners or at least put in a doughnut hole from 107,000 - 250,000....then lift the cap.

Why do you want to punish seniors when someone like Rush Limbaugh would never even notice that his paycheck is a teensy bit smaller?

That's an easy fix. As much as politicians have raided SSI .....Seniors are owed that.

Actually that is not true. While the payments to social security did not meet the payouts the interest earned more than made up for it. Soc Security did not add one dime to the deficit. In the not too distant future it will surpass what collected revenues and interest earned and then it will draw from their bonds and cash them in.
