But as in the healthcare debate with Repub pols, Obama gives in too quickly...Also, this is not the language Obama himself used when he campaigned. I realize we ALL have to sacrifice, but to take it out of the hide of seniors who have only SS to rely on is not the right way to go.
Realistic about what? SS doesn't add a single penny to the deficit. How is cutting benefits going to help fix this problem? All he's done is piss off his base so that people will just stay home in 2014.

No. He's influenced by the third way AND big business, which in a sense is simpson/bowels. Republicans? .... They may save us.. all though I don't count on them either ...They played a really good one on Obama with the sequester.. hahaha! .. Obama really got snookered there by them. Let's face it!
