Had the same notion, my mom is 57 but a Roth takes 5 years to mature. I saw the parallel with how long I thought it would take marijuana to get off the ground. If it breaks out in 5-7 years sell and invest in something that pays a nice dividend. Then she has another source of money tax free, and I have inheritance with less taxes taken out.
