#24876 RE: Jimmy Joe #24873

JJ: I've gotten lucky a few times, but never had enough capital to fully exploit the opportunity, or I'd be completely retired by now. Amgen was a really big winner for me. I was working in a hospital and saw the usage of it's flagship drug (Epogen) start to take off. I bought some stock. It went up, and up, and split, and went up, and split again, and went up...I didn't get in at the ground floor, and I didn't exit at the penthouse, but I had a nice ride nonetheless. Now I try to find companies that are at or just slightly above the "start up" stage, even if they've been around a while. Then I buy a substantial position. Then I hope for a big winner. I still have high hopes for CYGX, AVII and CVM. I have about 200 K shares of CYGX. If I'd had one tenth of that number of Amgen shares when it was in its infancy I'd be a multi millionaire.
All I can say is I hope Malcolm emerges from the thought proof, sound proof, water proof, deep, underground anti nuclear CYGX command center bunker soon.
