and, more to the point: isn't there a series of constitutional amendments known as the Bill of Rights?
what are the "unalienable rights" mentioned in the Declaration of Independence? Are you suggesting their is no link or relationship between the ideas set forth in the Declaration and law(s)s of the Constitution?
